Wildlife Photography Workshops In The

Yorkshire Dales - Simon Phillpotts

Simon Phillpotts is a professional wildlife photographer who lives within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Although famous for the landscapes that draws many photographers, the Dales also provide an amazing variety of wildlife habitats, which means he never has far to travel for some of his favourite subjects. Simon runs Wildlife Dales Photography providing Wildlife Photography Workshops and One-2-One tuition days to guide photographers of all levels to close encounters with some of the area’s iconic wildlife. Red squirrels, red grouse and upland birds, and brown hare can all be photographed on workshops that run close to Cornlee Bed & Breakfast, with red deer and bird of prey/owl workshops a short drive away. Simon’s images have been highly commended in the British Wildlife Photography Awards and appear regularly in the national and local press, in magazines and upon greetings cards, including cards for the RSPB, RSPCA and Friends of the Earth. He has also recently appeared on BBC’s Countryfile and features in Series 3 of ITV’s The Dales with Adrian Edmondson. Simon provides a door-to-door service for residents staying at Cornlee Bed & Breakfast. Visit Wild Dales Photography Website for more information

Landscape Photography Workshops In

The Yorkshire Dales - John Potter

The most spectacular views can be found in the Yorkshire Dales, so why not work alongside John and share his passion for landscape photography. John has an intimate knowledge of these regions throughout the seasons, and will take you to several scenic locations where you will receive his individual attention. Most workshops involve walking a few miles. Benefit from positive analysis/feedback on any photographic prints that you care to bring along. John offers analysis and feedback of images to all clients following workshops via email. In the winter when the days are short workshops typically start at first light, and usually run until the sun goes down. In the summer, depending on the location/area, a workshop will start at around 10.00am and run through until sundown. Cornlee Bed & Breakfast hosts Viewfinder Digital Photography Workshops led by professional landscape photographer, John Potter. The workshops combine both technical and creative aspects of landscape photography, where clients are encouraged to develop an eye for creating landscape images whilst learning how to use their camera to its full potential.
